Description: Published by Circle Fine Art Corporation, Chicago/New York. Vasarely’s fascination with spatial illusion (what he called «kinetic plasticity») eventually led him to create three-dimensional sculptures of which Talia, was his largest and most ambitious. Created in 1987, when the artist was 80 years old, the sheer complexity of the stenciling and hand-painting led to the creation of only 30 works, rather than the 100 planned (although the artist numbered each one from the edition of 100).
